As an experienced nature painter, also focused on the depiction of specific nature processes. In particular painting lyrically depicted the flowering time of willows. The main motif – the river is placed in the central part of the composition, which is surrounded by flowering trees on both sides. The painting is saturated by the vibrant green colour, which symbolically indicates the spring season and the vitality of nature. The structure of the composition is clear and distinctly arranged in plains. The forms of objects are modelled with softened brushstrokes.
