A new painting by Valdis Bušs, a virtuoso colourist, has been added to the Art Platz Auction online auction. The painting “In Talsi” is from the late 1980s – when the artist slightly changed his style, emphasizing broad areas of colour and their dynamics. In this painting, the artist uses contrast, contrasting oranges and yellows with blue tones of varying intensity. However, the artist himself can be found in the centre of the composition. This piece, listed as “In Talsi” (Lot 2024/0311), along with other works by Valdis Bušs, is now open for online bidding.
