Pink Sails

The painting created in the early 1980s, which is addressed to thematic of water and sailing yachts. From an elevated point of view the artist has depicted a landscape with the silhouettes of sailing yachts. The composition is created in decorative manner with an emphasis on the use of pink, purple and orange shades. The shapes of the depicted objects are designed with individual colour areas that are composed together. Also appears the artist’s search for the expansion of the individual artistic manner. The artist has deviated from his characteristic pastose style of painting, the paint is applied with wide and smoothed brushstrokes without the thick layer. /// The artist's signature and date are located on the lower left of the painting.
