Blessed who believes, strong who knows.

2021, oil on canvas, author's technique, coffee, 100x70 cm /// The artist Marina Medvedeva creates her works with a special individual approach, philosophy and author's technique. The paintings are complimented by a famous or unknown author quote, which also serves as the title of the painting. The quote is handwritten on an old page of book surrounded by several layers of paint. Thus, combining two energies - the "power of colour" and the "power of word". The plane of the abstract painting is made thin and smooth in metallic tone, volume of the texture is highlighted in the centre of the composition. Added quote in Russian “Блажен, кто верует, силён, кто ведает.” (Blessed who believes, strong who knows.) /// The artist's signature is located at the bottom right side of the painting.
