Were you told that miracles do not exist? Don't believe it! They just haven't seen them!

2021, oil on canvas, author's technique, coffee, Ø 100 cm /// The artist Marina Medvedeva creates her works with a special individual approach, philosophy and author's technique. Abstract paintings are designed as a connection between the subconscious allowing the viewer go into the flow of emotions and associations. The paintings are supplemented with a quote from a famous or unknown author, which also serves as the title of the work. The quote is handwritten on a page of the book surrounded by several layers of paint. Thus, combining two energies - the “power of colour” and the “power of word”. The painting is made in a light blue tone, the surface is covered with an author's created paste, which gives an expressive texture. The composition is complimented with a quote in Russian “Тебе сказали, что чудес не бывает? Hе верь! Они их просто не видели.” (Were you told that miracles do not exist? Don't believe it! They just haven't seen them.) /// The artist's signature is located on the lower right side of the painting.
