The village Lamini in the Tukums region is depicted with a bright variety of colours. In the foreground, stylized silhouettes of people on their way to the local Roman Catholic Church, which is placed in the background of the painting. The shapes are modelled using black contour, which highlights the outline of the depicted objects. The expressiveness and dynamics of the brushwork can be felt simply by looking at the painting. The use of bright red on the left side brings additional contrast. /// The artist's signature and date are on the lower left side of the painting.
