Sagittarius Rising

2010, lithography, 5/11, 78x57,5 cm /// Dmitrijs Lavrentjevs (1970) is one of the representatives of Latvian contemporary art with a unique and expressive style. In his works, he draws inspiration from archetypal images and mythology and discusses psychological and philosophical categories. Dmitrijs Lavrentjevs has organized personal exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions since 1995. The artist’s works are in private and public collections in Latvia, Germany, UK, the Netherlands, the USA, Poland, Norway, Russia, Belgium, Poland, Denmark, Sweden and New Zealand.
