In the painting “Medina in Morocco”, the artist turns to motifs of North African urban space, interpreting them as a dynamic, almost abstract ensemble of architectural structures. The composition is dominated by intense reds and blues, which, in contrast with lighter areas, create a tension between spatial depth and flatness.
