In this painting, the artist portrays a sunlit forest road bordered by rows of leafless birch trees and shrubs. The central road guides the viewer’s gaze into the landscape's depth, while the vertical rhythm of the trees lends the composition both structure and a sense of spatial depth. The bluish shadows cast across the snow contrast with the sunlit white expanses and the warm ochre tones of the tree trunks, creating a vivid impression of light.
