Art Platz Auction Highlights for the June 2025 selection feature graphic works by the classic Latvian artist Kārlis Dobrājs, inspired by Latvian folklore and nature. Two original illustrations from the 1993 folk tale collection “Vēja vanadziņš” (“Windy Accipiter”) visualise the relationship between humans and nature, interwoven with mythological motifs, the rhythm of the seasons, and natural phenomena. Both works – "How the Dew Formed" (Lot 2022/0173) and "About Thunder" (Lot 2022/0206) – are unique pieces and currently available for online bidding.
