Jūlijs Viļumanis – Fishing Nets

A new work by Latvian painter Jūlijs Viļumanis is now available on the Art Platz Auction platform. The coastal landscape serves as a recurring setting for familiar motifs of seaside life – boats, fishermen’s buildings and the quiet rhythm of daily work by the sea. These elements are rendered with a loose, lively painterly touch, while warm browns and ochres balance cool blue and muted grey tones. The seascape Fishing Nets (Lot 2026/0372) is now open for online bidding.
