Kārlis Siliņš – The House of the Black Heads at Night

A new work by painter Kārlis Siliņš is now available on the online art auction platform. In the painting, the artist’s characteristic, materially rich, and expressive style stands out. The central motif is the House of the Black Heads in Riga – one of the city’s architectural and cultural symbols – interpreted in a monumental and dynamic manner, with a pulsating silhouette rendered in red and dark tones. The use of nails and sawdust gives the work an unusual structure and a sense of spatial presence. The monumental and original painting "The House of the Black Heads at Night" (2025/0345) is now open for online bidding.
